ICE agents spotted "canvassing" Van Dorn and Sanger neighborhood

On the 15th of July, ICE (Trump's racial purity police) were seen "canvassing" the area of Van Dorn and Sanger in Alexandria, VA. They may have captured one person but disappeared no more than an hour after their presence was publicized on social media. Surely they had many more targets, but may have been scared away by potential community response once their presence was publicized.

Here in DC, the American Federation of Teachers sent a feeder march, and the DC Bike Party stopped by, with most riders dismounting and walking past in solidarity. Comparisons were made my many protesters to Hitler's camps, Trump too being considered a fascist.

Code locks return to area Starbucks restrooms

Over the course of the July 4 weekend, several DC area Starbucks outlets were observed with code locks on restroom doors reactivated. They were turned off (but never removed) in the aftermath of the infamous Philadelphia incident where an African-American businessman was arrested after asking to use to toilet. It looks like Starbucks's plan from day 1 was to turn the locks off only long enough for the uproar to die down.

Protesters disrupt, blockade, attempt to storm "Christian Zionist" convention

On the 8th of July, the so-called "Christian Zionist" group Christians United for Israel or CUFI held their convention at the Washington Convention Centers. Small teams of protesters got inside, disrupting VP Mike Pence (an infamous Christian Dominionist) and other speakers. Outside, protesters marched on the building and tried to enter via the more weakly-defended rear entrance. When that failed the doors were blocked and at times windows pounded on. Hours later, protesters marched to the front doors and got past police barricades, stopping at the locked front doors.

AllOutDC credited with ending Fascist fake "free speech" rally an hour early

On the 6th of July, a laundry list of extreme-right figures spoke at the "Demand Free Speech" rally at Freedom Plaza. Some of the speakers were no-shows, and Laura Loomer "blamed" anti-fascists for the event ending an hour early. Free speech is an interesting theme for Nazis and fascists historically known for burning books and executing opposition journalists. Some of the speakers have been seen elsewhere in swastika armbands.

Late afternoon, many of the fascists were tracked to Harry's Bar and police were setting up something at Trump Hotel. Anti-Fascists marched in and members of the Proud Boys assaulted a anti-fascist, whom police proceeded to arrest even though he was the victim Alex Rubenstein video of this incident 58s
