Anonymous claims DC cops ordered to arrest homeless between midnight and 5AM

A Twitter message from Anonymous claims that DC police have been ordered to impose an illegal, de facto curfew on the homeless, arresting them between the hours of midnight and 5 AM. It does not cite a context nor a location. Since there is no legal curfew, these arrests would have to be on made up or spurious "charges of convenience." Alternately they use "evidence" from illegal stop and frisks, known as jumpouts in DC. This kind of spurious arrest was how Freddie Grey got killed. Does DC want a week of protests, riots, and no baseball too?

Two possiblities exist here: one is that Anonymous has intercepted actual police plans to use illegal arrests to impose a curfew on the homeless. The other is that cops, knowing of a source that reports to Anonymous, have deliberately leaked false information as a bluffing threat against the homeless. DC cops are after all notorious for bluffing and hot air. Still, this would be a good night to have legal observers and copwatchers out, some in places like Franklin Square that the city wants to evict the homeless from. and some tracking police patrols to catch them in the act of any crimes.

Meanwhile, just as I predicted, the City of Baltimore has dropped all charges against those arrested solely for violating the curfew. They have declared the arrests "punishment enough," as in "you can beat the rap, but you can't beat the (rough) ride." Perhaps something about that curfew, ACLU involvement, and charges of group punishment illegal under international law has made the city court-shy?
